1. Donation Refunds

Donations made to Basic Aid International via our website (www.basicaid.org) are generally considered final and non-refundable. However, exceptions may be made under the following circumstances:

• Duplicate donations or administrative errors made by Basic Aid International or our payment service providers

• Mistaken donation amounts, provided that the refund request is made within 30 days of the original transaction

To request a refund, please contact us at info@basicaid.org with your full name, donation amount, date of transaction, and the reason for your request. Refunds, if approved, will be issued using the original payment method.

2. Allocation of Donations

Unless specified, your donation will be directed to the area of greatest need across our humanitarian programs. However:

• If a specific project or cause is selected during donation, we will make every effort to honor that choice

• Basic Aid International reserves the right to reallocate funds to similar programs if the selected project has met its financial goal or if there is a more urgent need elsewhere

3. Recurring Donations

If you have set up a recurring donation and wish to cancel or modify it, please notify us at least 10 business days in advance of the next scheduled transaction by emailing info@basicaid.org.

4. Transaction Fees and Zakat Donations

For donations made by credit or debit card, please note that a small percentage of your donation may be deducted as transaction fees by the payment processor. If your donation is zakat, we encourage you to add an additional 2% to ensure the full intended amount reaches the recipient without deductions.

5. Tax and Legal Compliance

Basic Aid International is a registered nonprofit organization in its jurisdiction. Your donation may be eligible for tax deductions, depending on your country’s laws. Please consult with your local tax authority or advisor for clarification.
